The authors of the manuscripts entrust the editors with the results of their scientific and creative work, which may affect their reputation, particularly in the area of research, and their subsequent careers. For this reason, all manuscripts and supplementary materials received for consideration must be treated as confidential documents which may not be shown to any third party or discussed with a third party. The confidentiality of the author(s) may be broken in exceptional cases if fraud or dishonesty is detected on the part of the author(s).
The editorial board should also not disclose to anyone, with the exception of authors and reviewers, such manuscript-related information as the receipt, the content, the current status in the process of review, the criticism of the reviewers, or the final decision which may be taken.
To protect the confidentiality of the reviewer, the personal data of the author(s) is not revealed; and the personal data of the reviewer is not disclosed to the author(s).
It is explained to the reviewers that the manuscript accepted for consideration is the property of the authors. Thus reviewers and editors are forbidden to discuss the said works publicly prior to publication, or to steal the ideas of the author(s). It is prohibited for reviewers to make copies of manuscripts on any media, and transmitting manuscripts to other persons is likewise prohibited. Reviewers must return or destroy any copies of the manuscripts which they have received for review after the submission of the reviews. The editors do not retain copies of rejected manuscripts.
Comments by reviewers may not be published or made public without the permission of the reviewer, the author and the editor.
